I’ve never been a tomboy, although I haven’t exactly been a girl-girl either. It’s no secret that I love skirts and dresses, but I’ve never really fit in at the country club (just ask my parents). I’ve always pretty much worn what I wanted and two of the things I’ve always worn and wanted are shit-kickers and Granny boots (much to the chagrin of the afore-mentioned parents and country cub attendees).

Mixing hard and soft is about the only thing that’s been consistent in my style, so I love the look of combat/motorcycle boots and lace-ups with something soft and feminine.

So sorry for the lag in posts, just needed to recharge and regroup  NYC was an incredible time to say the very least!  Fall looks really strong and everyone’s taking the basics to a new level. There’s so much to tell you all!   First off, much fun at LD Tuttle…..great shoe appointment topped off with some streetstyle.

I really have/had no intention of ever posting any style pics of myself, but I guess I’m warming up to the idea…not.   BUT perusing through all those fabulous fashion blogs out there, it just seems like so much fun to share, right??  

So, here I am to share…style in the midwest.  I use to plan my outfit for the day, but nowadays I’d rather sleep!  Don’t get too excited, my style’s not that crazy.  In fact, it’s almost to the other exteme…simple.   I like my basics and my basic colors.
