Oh lordy, is it that time already??  Afraid so my friends!  Ah, but behold this season’s swimwear by Australian label, Lover.  Believe it or not, this collection makes peeling off the layers for the tiniest bit of skin-tight lycra a whole lot easier…promise!  The creative duo behind the heavily-sought-after-ethereal lace dresses, tops, tunics etc…has created an equally brilliant collection in swimwear!  Who knew lace + swimwear could be so amazing and so flattering!  With a bit of respite from Chicago on the horizon (in the form of a nice warm week in Savannah!  Fingers crossed for some high 80’s people!!), I’m actually gearing up for some lace myself!

With NY Fashion Week well under way, we’ve been more than excited to see fashion’s new offerings.  There are some really fantastic shows so far…Rag & Bone (’uncomplicated’ and cool), lots of great pieces (and dresses!) from Vena Cava and Gary Graham.  There’s also the indie designers that we love so much and certainly can’t be missed.  Featured above…Lover, Loeffler Randall and Gar-de.  From their lookbooks, it’s going to be a gooood season

Spring in the city…..Spring is why we endure the snow, the ice, the wind, the sleet, the slush, the no parking, the WINTER!  Yes, all this for spring in the city…spring here feels like love is in the air.  

I couldn’t wait to look at spring again after all these weeks of fall shows.  I immediately started perusing S09 lookbooks and I’m falling for Lover.  What a great vibe…
